The Long Walk Back

As I was heading back to the car after an hour of exploring at Delta Lake the other day I noticed a pair of ice fishermen walking back to the beach. They are those small dots above the picnic table. lol I only had the 35mm lens on the camera but I like the view that lens captures with my camera.

I went a slightly different direction with the processing for this image. I chose to use a high key look which would accentuate the shadows and wash out portions of the sky. I think it really adds to the cold feel of this one.

  1. It is always the way isn’t it Mike when we need another lens. I agree with you in that the 35mm has worked well in this landscape image, providing us with a really “cold” expanse. Hope you have a great year, one filled with joy, happiness and good health

  2. A really beautiful image Mike. I love the bluish grey color and the high key look. I’ve been trying high key too on some of my images and I really love that look.
