August Challenge
My friend Karma over at Karma’s When I Feel Like It Blog is giving me a needed kick in my photography butt. She is putting her own spin on the iheartfaces summer photo challenge. You can read about Karma’s challenge here, and the iheartfaces challenge here. Personally, I like Karma’s spin on it as it gives me plenty of wiggle room in capturing my images.
So, I used some of that wiggle room room to capture my first two images for the challenge…
08/01 – happy
I wasn’t exactly sure what I was going to create for happy. Things or styles I can do but capturing a feeling or emotion has always been challenging for me. Since I couldn’t get down to my favorite happy place (eh hem, 69 more days!) I thought I would show the next best thing. I’m always happy when I am working on my pictures and I do it in a room full of stuff from my happy place. (I wish I had paid closer attention to that reflection on the poster…)
08/02 – sidewalk
My initial thought was to go over into Rome and see what I could find on the city streets for the sidewalk challenge. Then I put my brain to work. I live out in the country. We might not have proper sidewalks but we definitely use the side of the road as one. I had my daughter help me with this concept.
I might not be posting for this challenge every day but I am going to try my best to capture an image for every day of the month. Thanks Karma for posting this challenge… I needed something to focus on this month. Stop over to Karma’s blog and check out her take on the challenge. I would love to see more picture concepts for each day’s theme…
Hey great kick off! Happy to see you getting things going!
Thanks Karma! I needed something to get me thinking about images.
