Alice’s Castle

Magic Kingdom, Walt Disney World

I am always looking for new ways to photograph the parks when I visit Walt Disney World.  I’m not sure I would have ‘seen’ this image if my friend Joanie hadn’t been helping me ‘see’ unique patterns in a few of my latest images.  With those other images I have been  cropping out a section of a much larger image to create the pattern image.

This image isn’t exactly the same as the images I have been creating (a post will follow soon), but the interesting view is a result of my recent ‘training’.  For this image I specifically captured what I wanted to create.  This is what I imagine a peek through the looking glass would be like…

  1. I LOVE this, and it’s perfect for a ‘looking glass’ kind of idea. Love that I had to think about it too, when I got to the bottom and saw the ‘upside down’ piece of it.
