Passing Storm

Delta Lake State Park

It was quite the day yesterday. Headed out early to visit my son in Albany. He doesn’t work until 11:45am and the plan was to take him to breakfast. There were a couple of reasons for the nicety… his mom had his Easter basket, and his sister had some belated birthday presents. There was a trip to the mall involved and even a stop for lunch (we had left the boy by then).

The drive home was not bad except we drove into the rain that was predicted for this weekend. I’m OK with the rain as long as the temperature remains normal. I thought the day was pretty much a wash. About an hour before sunset the rain broke and the sun made a few attempts at breaking through the clouds. I couldn’t resist the opportunity. I grabbed my stuff and headed over to Delta Lake State Park.

I wandered about looking for images and the last image I tried for was a very long exposure (50 seconds) to attempt to capture the movement of the clouds. I don’t think it turned out too bad…
