Flash Photography
I pulled out the tripod, flash units and studio equipment last night to play with camera settings and the setup for my Oil Can Project. I definitely have more to learn. I forgot I had Bryan Peterson’s book Understanding Flash Photography on my shelf. I purchased it when I got the first flash for my old Nikon camera. Time to read that one… LOL!
I eventually get an image that I want but the number of attempts is very frustrating. The camera and flash do not feel like they are working together properly. Or maybe they are and I am the one who does not understand (more likely!). It sounds like rain outside, so I think today is a good day to start reading.
Well, regardless of the # of tries (and boy do I understand THAT frustration!) this image is really nice. And you learned a lot, right? Even if what you learned is that you have a lot to learn! Which is what I learn and relearn regularly.
Thanks Dawn. I am learning… 😊
