Delta Lake State Park
After a very interesting day at work where more discussion concerning the next few weeks occurred than actual work, I definitely needed to wander outside with my camera. Even though the sun is setting later due to the spring time adjustment I didn’t leave myself a lot of time, which meant Delta Lake would be my destination for the sunset. I assumed there was more ice melt and I would be able to photograph some reflections. It did not disappoint.
Wow! This is great, love the ripples of ice in the foreground! Not a bad sunset either! I have felt, the last few days, a need to get out with the camera, but I haven’t found enough time to get there. Somehow this spring forward thing is still messing with my brain and I am constantly thinking there’s more time in the day than there actually is. Right now I’m surprised it’s already 11:30! If I don’t get out soon I won’t be out there at all again today!
Thanks Dawn. The spring forward has given me the time I need after dinner to go explore. I work 50 minutes from where I live so I normally do not get home until 5-5:30pm. Although I’m not a fan of daylight savings time, right now that extra hour at the end of the day is working for me.
Beautiful! Now that my sports photography is on “pause”, I’ll be looking to get out and photograph nature soon. It’s a pleasing way to social distance.
Thanks Scott. My solitary exploring is working in my favor during this time of distancing. I look forward to seeing what nature images you find.
